DEPARTMENTS

The SALES DEPARTMENT is where it all begins. Without a sale, there is nothing to produce in the other departments. The Mammoth sales department takes care of all incoming sales and pricing for customers. Once a sale is finalized, specifications are recorded, such as size, material, and shipping location, and a job ticket is written up. Artwork must then be sent to the prepress department matching all details recorded on the job ticket.

The PREPRESS DEPARTMENT consists of three talented and detail-oriented designers. They may either receive print-ready artwork from the customer, or can put together any kind of concept, design or advertisement that fits the customer’s needs. Working on their Mac-based computers and software, they prepare files ranging from bus shelters to billboards. Once the files are prepped (sized, bled, and/or color-corrected) and approved by the customer, they are passed off to the production department.

The PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT is a fast-paced and energetic area of the company. All five printers are constantly running, creating some of the largest and most detailed media available today. Our machines are massive, and our operators manage the diverse selection of materials, solvents, inks, etc. After each piece of media is printed, it is then brought to the finishing department.

The FINISHING DEPARTMENT wraps up the grand-format printing process. The act of “finishing” consists of cutting, grommeting, hemming, laminating, sewing, packaging, etc. Once everything is up to par with the customer’s expectations, the media is then shipped to the installation location or the customer themself.
